New business owner able to recreate childhood passions
Edwards, who started taking art and craft classes when she was in the third grade, remembers playing “pretend business shop” as a child and went on a Barbie clothes making binge after receiving her very own sewing machine when she was in grade school. She has incorporated those long‐ago passions as well as her “green” philosophy into her new business venture. Edwards said she is currently going through a button phase, incorporating buttons of all shapes and sizes into monograms, flowers, and jewelry. She particularly enjoys making felt cookies and various types of scarves, along with crocheted items.
