Swamp Fox topic at Lee historical society
The Lee County Historical Society for its June 14 meeting welcomes the return engagement of one its most popular speakers, Bob Barrett.
Barrett has addressed the society several times but has been lured back by popular demand. He is the director of the Francis Marion Trail Commission operating through the support of Francis Marion University. Barrett offers his audience a storehouse of knowledge related to the Swamp Fox and his Revolutionary War exploits across South Carolina and particularly the Pee Dee area of the state.
